Between the two 'symbol places' Pisis and Velinis the mapmaker again feels very pressed for space; very soon after the start there is also the Aventia river to cross. As a result, the mapmaker becomes so cautious that he eliminates the initial route stretch and distance figure from Pisis altogether, and immediately begins the next stretch and name (Tvirtta) at the righthand side of the Pisis symbol.
