   <p id="placenote1334">MARTA is written in black ink and not preceded by "Fl." In all other respects, however, it is most naturally taken as a name for river #41. Quite possibly the station where this route crosses lacked a distinctive name, and so one of the two came to be omitted. Alternatively, since each would most naturally be placed at the same spot in this instance, it is conceivable that the mapmaker even intended the one name to serve both functions. He may do the same with Safe Fl. (5B3) and Silarvm Fl. (5B5). Note a station named Marta Fl. on the route below.</p>
