No distance figure appears on the stretch itself. However, the name (with final letter very indistinct) is written a second time in 7C1, in this instance with the distance figure XXII. I regard this repetiton, above the end of the stretch and close to the lefthand edge of the next parchment, as the addition of a copyist concerned to match up routes correctly (compare Iria, 3B1).

    • For route linework to overrun a river course repeatedly, as here (river #78), is untypical. At the same time, however, this river course is untypically sinuous, and the copyist was no doubt particularly concerned to keep the route clear of the symbol for Argos.
