There is clearly a considerable gap between "Creso" and the distance figure, but the letters (an unknown number) that occupy it are no longer legible.

Onward stretch:

  • XV (15) Litivm
    • ItMiller 609 (compare lithograph, 498) insists that the distance figure must be XVI, but after checking the 1888 photograph and the parchment itself in Oct. 2001, I read XV followed by the usual stop.
