Onward stretch: XVIII ( 18)Pompeiopolis The start of this stretch is not marked. The distance figure XVIII is placed at the start of the following (Pompeiopolis) stretch. A thin, short downward stroke in red at the end of the stretch begins, but does not complete, a link to the Selevcia stretch below. Miller (722 n. 1) records this as incorrect, and his lithograph (634) omits it. Perhaps the copyist immediately realized his slip and did not persist with it.
