Conceivably, it might instead do so via Patamo, but in the absence of route linework users of the map cannot be sure of that. The significance of the thin red linework (seemingly redundant) that curves its way from below the Cano distance figure XV down to the Patras symbol is another cause for puzzlement; possibly it is just a copyist's slip, or a means of confirming that in his view this figure refers to the Cano-Patras stretch. Patamo remains an isolated name without a distance figure.</item>
