It seems likely, though not certain, that these words in open water refer to the unique symbol immediately above on the shoreline (intended to represent cliffs perhaps ? Not original to the map, but a copyist's embellishment ?). My reading of the third word (much of it beyond recovery) is from personal inspection of the parchment (March 2003).
