   <p id="placenote1126">The letters "AFLAG" are bunched together strangely, although otherwise the spacing is much more ample and consistent. Just possibly a copyist (or even the mapmaker ?) laid out the word carelessly as PAGONIA, and only then realized that "FLA" had to be added between the first "A" and the "G".</p>
