Onward stretch: VIII ( 8) (unnamed / illegible, no. 15) In all likelihood the route into which this stretch leads is the unwarranted addition of a copyist (see note for the Gerainas-Vapincvm stretch, 2B2). The original intention was perhaps to proceed direct to the Brigantione stretch (compare BAtlas 17H4), difficult though that might have been to achieve neatly because of the crush of names thereabouts.
