Virginia Allum

Virginia has taught EFL at Upper Intermediate and Advanced Levels and ESP, specifically English for Nursing and Health for several years at a Vocational Training College in Australia. She worked as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Educator in Australia and currently works as a Registered Nurse in the UK.

Virginia has co-written 'Cambridge English for Nursing Intermediate Plus' and 'Cambridge English for Nursing Pre-Intermediate' with Patricia McGarr. Both books came out of her experience assisting overseas students of nursing with both theoretical and practical aspects of their nursing education particularly language-based communication issues in healthy settings.
