Press authors take home 26 APSA awards
The American Political Science Association (APSA) has recognized 24 Press titles for awards at its 2019 Annual Meeting.
Highlights include Poor Representation: Congress and the Politics of Poverty in the United States by Kristina C. Miller, selected for the Woodrow Wilson Foundation Award, given annually for the best book on government, politics, or international affairs. Conservative Parties and the Birth of Democracy by Daniel Ziblatt was also selected for this award in 2018.
Disenfranchising Democracy: Constructing the Electorate in the United States, the United Kingdom, and France by David A. Bateman and Segregation by Design: Local Politics and Inequality in American Cities by Jessica Trounstine were also both selected as co-winners of the J. David Greenstone Book Award, Politics and History Section. Segregation by Design was also selected as the Ethnicity and Politics Section Best Book in Race, Ethnicity, and Urban Politics.
