1 The editor wishes to express his sincere appreciation to J. Sears McGee, of Yale University and a former student at Rice University, for his painstaking work in preparing this list. It is based on the titles listed in “Publications and Research Projects dealing with Austrian History in the United States,” which was prepared in January, 1960, by the secretary of the United States Committee to promote Studies of the History of the Habsburg Monarchy; in the four issues of the Austrian History News Letter; and in a large number of questionnaires which were returned to the editor. In addition, Mr. McGee has added other titles which he found in various scholarly journals in the Fondren Library of Rice University.
