Hydrospire meshwork of the Carboniferous Blastoid Pentremites Say

Unusual preservation of blastoid hydrospire meshwork in a single Mississippian specimen was described by Beaver (1981). Examination of additional specimens from different stratigraphic units has revealed other specimens of Mississippian age showing the same hydrospire meshwork.
