On folio 3v of the manuscript are two annotations: 1) ‘This is the book of John Bloxham, a legacy of Master Simon Lambourne.’ 2) ‘This book is given to the house of scholars of Merton [College], there to remain guarded in the library, for such time as it shall be for the use and utility of the fellows of the house. It was bequeathed to the aforementioned John by Master Simon Lambourne. Pray for both of them.’
