As societies continue to experience structural and cultural violence, extreme economic inequality, declines in democracy and myriad other social problems, the psychological academic community, through Progressive Psychology, seeks to end discrimination and prejudice, combat the psychological consequences of poverty, protect children in conflict zones, make justice a more important theme in business organizations, better understand the failure of revolutions and limits on political plasticity, and move societies to more openness.
