- Leanne Teoh, University of Melbourne
Dr Leanne Teoh is both a practising dentist and registered pharmacist. At The University of Melbourne, she holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Dental Therapeutics at the Melbourne Dental School and coordinates the Dental Therapeutics program for the Doctor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Oral Health courses. She has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles on medicine use in dentistry, and her main research interest is dental prescribing, with a focus on antibiotic and opioid stewardship. She was a member of the Expert Group for the Australian Therapeutic Guidelines Oral and Dental (Version 2) and is on the Editorial Board for the journal BMC Oral Health. As an invited speaker, Dr Teoh has presented both locally and internationally in various forums, including the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration, FDI World Dental Federation and the International Association for Dental Research. She continues to provide educational lectures, webinars and podcasts for various health professional groups around Australia. She also maintains clinical work in private practice dentistry.
- Geraldine Moses, University of Queensland
Geraldine Moses AM is a consultant clinical pharmacist with an extensive background in medicines information and education. Since 2013, Dr Moses has provided the drug information and advisory service called 'Pharma Advice' for the Australian Dental Association. She has published over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and continues to write regular articles, and present webinars and podcasts for pharmacy and dental organisations throughout Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Dr Moses maintains her clinical expertise working part-time at the Mater Public Hospital in Brisbane. She also holds the position of Adjunct Associate Professor in the Schools of Pharmacy at The University of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology and in the Dental School at The University of Western Australia. She was a member of the Expert Group for the Australian Therapeutic Guidelines Oral and Dental (Version 3) and has been appointed to the writing group for Version 4. She also consults to various organisations such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, the New Zealand Dental Association and the Australian Commission for Safety and Quality in Healthcare. In 2019, Dr Moses was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her significant service to medicine and the community as a pharmacist.
- Michael McCullough, University of Melbourne
Michael McCullough is Professor in Oral Medicine at the Melbourne Dental School at The University of Melbourne and convenes the oral medicine program for the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry. Professor McCullough has published over 210 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and was on the Expert Panel for the first two editions of the Therapeutic Guidelines Oral and Dental. He was an editor on the comprehensive textbook Contemporary Oral Medicine, authoring several chapters. He is an Oral Medicine Clinical Consultant to the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
