The Association welcomes contributions in any amount from its members and from anyone else who supports its goals. On this page, you can make donations to any of the funds listed below. For more information about any of these funds, see the ASL's prizes and awards page.

Karp Prize

The Karp Prize was established in 1973 in memory of Professor Carol Karp. It is awarded every five years for an outstanding paper or book in the field of symbolic logic.

Sacks Prize

The Sacks Prize is awarded annually for the most outstanding doctoral dissertation in mathematical logic; it was established to honor Professor Gerald Sacks of MIT and Harvard for his unique contribution to mathematical logic, particularly as adviser to a large number of excellent Ph.D. students.

Shoenfield Prize

The Shoenfield Prize is awarded for outstanding expository writing in the field of logic. It has been established by the ASL to honor the late Joseph R. Shoenfield for his many outstanding contributions to logic and to the Association. There will be a Shoenfield Prize for a book and another for an expository article, each to be awarded simultaneously every three years.

Outreach Membership Fund

The Outreach Membership Fund helps the Association continue to support outstanding logicians residing in the developing world.
