Introducing Linguistics

Terry Nadasdi is a Full Professor of linguistics at the University of Alberta. He has published four books and dozens of articles on the topics of language contact, Canadian French and sociolinguistic aspects of bilingualism and language acquisition. He is the co-creator of bonpatron.com, a web-based grammar checker for the learning of French; he is also the developer of tools for the acquisition of Spanish vocabulary and grammar (spanishchecker.com).
