The Unit Tests assess Connect students’ progress in vocabulary, grammar (Language Focus), reading, and writing.

A suggested Scoring Guide follows, but teachers are encouraged to make adjustments appropriate to their students’ needs. To build students’ confidence, we recommend adapting the scoring guidelines so that most students do well on the Unit Tests.
