Make one copy of Talking point 3 for every student.

  1. Give each student a handout. Ask students to complete the questions with sports or activities. Then have them answer their own questions, marking Y (yes) or N (no) under the Me column.
  2. Have students form groups of four. In their groups, tell students to take turns interviewing one another, writing Y or N in the appropriate columns in their charts. Encourage students to ask follow-up questions and add extra information.
  3. When students have finished, have them compare charts and discuss and list the things all the group members had in common.
  4. Have groups report what they had in common to the class.
