Talking PointsDo you have extra class time? Do you want your students to talk even more? Then these quick and easy-to-use Talking Points speaking activities are perfect for you! Talking Points provide fun ways to further improve fluency and reinforce vocabulary from the Student’s Book. They include pair, group, and class activities such as games, information gaps, surveys, and discussions. Talking Points require minimal time to prepare: All you need to do is read the instructions for the activities you want to use, download the corresponding activity sheets, and make enough photocopies for your students. All the downloadable files are in PDF format. You will need to have Acrobat Reader® to be able to open and print them. (If you don’t already have the software, you can download it for free at www.adobe.com.) There is one Talking Point activity for each unit in the course. (Note: The 16 Talking Points for each Student’s Book are also available as photocopiables in the Teacher’s Manuals for those books.) To begin, click on the unit number in the chart below. Or, if you would like to download all the activities from one level, click on that choice at the bottom of the chart.
