Time: 15–20 minutes
Activity type: Creating slogans
Preparation: Click here to download the Talking point activity.
Make one copy of Talking point 10 for every 16 students. Cut into cards.

1. Have students form pairs. Give each pair one product card.
2. Each pair should create a name for their product and list its selling points. Then they should create an original slogan for the product. Encourage students to be as creative and as original as possible.
3. When students have finished, have each pair present their product to the class.
4. After each presentation, have the class discuss which product they would buy and why.
