Make one copy of Talking point 3 for every four students. Cut each set into cards.

1. Have students form groups of four. Give each group one set of picture cards, placed facedown.
2. Students take turns turning over the cards, one by one. Each student describes the picture, and the group tries to guess what happened during the crime. When all of the cards have been turned over, students work together to place the cards in order and explain what happened.
3. Repeat step 2 with the other set of cards.
4. Have groups report their versions of the crimes to the class.
