What's the best way to . . . ?

Time: 10–15 minutes
Activity type: Advice survey
Preparation: Click here to download the Talking point activity.
Make one copy of Talking point 9 for each student.

  1. Hand out one survey sheet to each student.
  2. Have students walk around the class asking a different classmate for each piece of advice on the survey sheet. Students should write down each classmate’s name and the advice they received.
  3. When students have completed the survey sheet, have them form groups of four and compare the advice they received. Groups should then choose the best advice for each problem.
  4. Have groups share the best advice they received with the class.
