How do you feel?

Preparation: Click here to download the Talking point activity.
Make one copy of Talking point 2 for every four students. Cut into cards.

  1. Have students form groups of four. Then have groups split into two pairs to make two teams.
  2. The first student chooses a card and has 30 seconds to mime the emotion and the situation on the card while his or her partner tries to guess it. The other team watches quietly. If the partner guesses the emotion, the team gets one point. If he or she also guesses the situation, the team gets one bonus point.
  3. The other team repeats step 2.
  4. The team with the most points in the end wins.
