Make one copy of Talking point 4 for every eight students. Cut into cards.

  1. Have students form groups of eight. Give each student one card.
  2. Have students walk around and interview one another to find out the answer to the question on their card. Draw students’ attention to the question prompts on the cards if they need help. Students should write down the various answers and students’ names on the backs of their cards.
  3. When students have finished, have them review the answers to determine the answer to the question on their card.
  4. Have students report their findings to the group.
  5. Have groups write their answers on the board. Then compare answers as a class.
