International Superstitions

Time: 15–20 minutes

Preparation: Click here to download the Talking point activity.
Make one copy of Talking point 4 for
every four students. Cut into cards.

1. Have students form groups of four. Give each group one set of Superstitions cards.
2. Groups work together to match the halves of the superstitions.
3. Check answers with the class.
4. Have students share any other international superstitions they know, including ones from their own countries.
