    • The linework for this stretch is not marked.
    • The route linework is drawn for some way, but it then stops abruptly. Continuation to Nicea would seem to make best sense (compare BAtlas 49 C2-D2), even though this requires a very lengthy stretch with a bend in it. Conceivably, a copyist interrupted the linework to accommodate the D of MACEDONIA and then omitted to continue the line; thereafter there was uncertainty over whether it was to proceed to Nicea or to Evristo, and the omission remained.
