The first two letters--seen best in the 1888 photograph--are damaged by a crease in the parchment and hence impossible to identify with confidence. Inspection of the parchment itself (March 2003) only adds to my perplexity. "G" chosen by Miller, "C", "E" and "S" all appear possible for the first letter; if anything, I incline to "S". For the second letter, I am more inclined to "P" than to Miller's choice of "R".
