Workbook with Audio CD

The Workbook with Audio CD contains exercises for extra practice in reading, vocabulary, listening, grammar, and a 'Writing for your Portfolio' section.

Extra Practice Book

The Extra Practice Book contains material on life and culture topics, and extra practice exercises. The language corresponds to the units of the Student's Book. Each book includes a 'pull-out-and-keep' mini-reader of a classic tale:

• Level 1 – The Selfish Giant by Oscar Wilde
• Level 2 – The Sing-Song Tale of Old Man Kangaroo by Rudyard Kipling
• Level 3 – The Open Window by Saki
• Level 4 – The Adventures of Three Students (a Sherlock Holmes detective story) by Arthur Conan Doyle

Teacher's Book

The Teacher's Book contains warm-up activities, step-by-step guidance on how to get the best out of the course and answer keys for the Student's Book, Workbook and Extra Practice Book. It also includes 'Extra' idea sections for fast finishers.

Teacher's Resource Pack with Testbuilder CD-ROM

• The Teacher's Resource Pack contains unit tests, review tests, and term tests, as well as entry-level tests and end-of-year tests.
• There are extra grammar practice and communication activities for each unit of the course.
• The free Testbuilder CD-ROM allows teachers to create their own tests. It previews each exercise before inclusion, and can create 'A' and 'B' versions of each test so that students sitting next to each other don't share answers. Exam skills (KET-, PET- and Trinity-style) questions are also available.

Class Audio CDs

A set of two CDs containing all the Student's Book and Extra Practice Book audio material.

DVD (PAL/NTSC)

Each DVD contains six teenage dramas which show a group of friends in various humorous situations, both in and out of school. Accompanying teacher's notes and activities are available from this site.

• Level 1 follows the adventures of a group of young British teens ('Kids in the UK')
• Level 2 follows a group of teens who are at school in New York ('Kids in NYC')
• Level 3 depicts a team of British teenagers who run their school magazine ('The School Magazine')
• Level 4 presents more adventures of the school magazine team ('School Reporters')
