Please refer to the complimentary Teacher's Manual for more information
on how to use this CD-ROM in the classroom. This manual will be included
with the purchase of this CD-ROM, and has been designed to aid teachers
in using The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade: A Database on CD-ROM with
their students. The manual is divided into three sections:
- Using the CD-ROM database of slaving voyages, including specific
examples of queries that can be run with the CD-ROM.
- An overview of the history of the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
- Suggestions for further reading and research: an annotated bibliography
