Cambridge Early Years

Cambridge Early Years is the first stage in the Cambridge Pathway. It gives learners aged 3 to 6 the best start in life, helping them meet key early milestones and thrive in and out of school.

    Teaching and learning resources

Filled with lesson plans, guided play ideas, stories, songs, stickers and more, our resources take a play-based approach and support you with observational assessment.

    Curriculum

The Cambridge Early Years curriculum follows a holistic, play-based approach that focuses on the whole child and connects their development with the world around them.

    Measuring progress

Assessing young learners’ progress against key milestones is a crucial part of early years education. Our approach is based around continuous formative assessment, including learner observations.

    Professional development

We offer a range of professional development support, whether you’re just getting started or have more experience with the programme.
