A REVIEW OF THE GOERIDAE (TRICHOPTERA)

Abstract

Goera schmidi n. sp. from Thailand is described together with drawings of the greatly modified male genitalia and maxillary palpi. SEM micrographs of scales on the wings of Goeridae are presented. Distributional data are given for the Goeridae known to occur in Canada and the United States.

Résumé

Une description est faite de Goera schmidi n. sp. et des dessins des genitalia très modifiés et des palpes maxillaires des mâles sont présentés. Des micrographies en MEB des écailles des ailes des Goeridae sont présentées. Des données sur la répartition des Goeridae connus au Canada et aux Etats-Unis sont fournies.
