Abstract

Spiral arm shapes, locations, and velocities can be well determined, when model pitfalls are avoided (Vallée 2008a). Similarly, circularly orbiting gas and magnetic field lines can cross the spiral arms, when observational pitfalls are avoided (Vallée 2008b).
