Le Comité international de la Croix-Rouge a présenté à la Commission d'Hygiène, Personnel sanitaire et Assistance sociale de la XVIIIe Conférence international de la Croix-Rouge (Toronto, juillet-août 1952) un rapport intitulé: Formation, Fonctions, Statut et Conditions d'engagement du personnel sanitaire affecté au traitement des blessés et malades des armées.

Les conclusions de ce rapport, discutées point par point, ont été approuvées à l'unanimité.
