Extract

1. The effects of thyrotropin on milk yields and heart rates of goats were compared with the effects of growth hormone.

2. As expected, the milk yields from the goats which received growth hormone were markedly increased.

3. Thyrotropin caused increases of heart rate in two goats in one of which a large increase of milk yield was also produced.
