Generalized invariant sub- and super-solutions for the energy-decreasing flow

Abstract

We consider an extension of the notion of sub- and super-solutions for an elliptic boundary-value problem and derive the existence of a classical solution in the presence of pairs of well-ordered or non-well-ordered generalized sub- and super-solutions.
