Members who have been members for 15 years or more and have now retired from their profession may apply to become emeritus members of the ASL, and continue to receive the same benefits as a regular member. Emeritus members pay 50% of regular membership dues.
Members who have been members for 20 years or more and have now retired from their profession may apply to become retired members of the ASL and continue to receive copies of the society newsletter. Retired members pay no dues but do not receive copies or online access to the content of the Journals of the ASL. Retired memberships are automatically renewed.
