Abstract
Sulfinamides are important sulfur-containing motifs widely used in pharmaceuticals and materials. We report a metal-free electrochemical method for synthesizing alkyl sulfinamides via coupling alkyl iodides (NHPI esters) with sulfinylamines under mild conditions. This protocol shows broad substrate scope and late-stage functionalization capability, proceeding via a radical pathway, and enabling efficient access to diverse sulfinamide derivatives for medicinal chemistry applications.
