Abstract

A community can be defined as a group of similar people who share values and belief systems, norms, experiences, common history, and a sense of identity. Health promotion is a series of activities aimed at improving and protecting the public's health, including individuals, populations, and communities. Community health promotion aims to empower individuals to attain and maintain wellness.
