Abstract

Goal of this part of my studies is to delve deeper into, and explain, what the scholar call Psyche and the common person considers the Soul. I firmly believe that psychic genesis occurred to resolve biological problems, but through physical means. We begin with physical reality and its elementary forms in the various dimensions of space, time, energy, and matter, and then investigate the primal instincts that underlie Psyche. We will discuss Pleasure and Pain, Anger and Fear, Desire and Disgust, Fascination and Shame, Gratification and Frustration, to explore the emotional nature and facial expression of each instinct, its ethology, and how it relates to reality. We will thus trace the elementary framework from which human Psyche was born and upon which it grew. These are interesting phenomena because they exist within each of us, shaping our daily lives, our social relationships, and our very lives.
