Dan Bray

Dan Bray is Director of Assessment Innovation and Transformation at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. He brings extensive experience across a wide range of educational levels and global contexts, with a strong track record in delivering large-scale education reform projects in partnership with governments, school groups, and NGOs.

In his current role, Dan leads the development of innovative assessment methodologies for international qualifications used by more than 10,000 schools worldwide.

He has 20 years of experience in senior assessment roles, specialising in the design, delivery, and standardisation of IGCSE, A Level, O Level, and Checkpoint qualifications. He has also worked in educational publishing and as a classroom teacher. His expertise includes assessment design, system-level analysis, examination quality assurance, and developing fair and robust assessment systems.
