Karen Kester
Karen Kester has worked in international project management, client management and operational roles for over 25 years.
Karen's experience includes leading multi-million pound outsourcing contracts, working in partnership with clients to embed new ways of working and establishing new project management teams operating in international contexts. Prior to working in the education sector, Karen managed teams working in logistics and operational roles which included leading on the business requirements and implementation of new systems, designing and embedding new processes and developing approaches to facilitate changes in workplace culture. She has an MA from the University of Cambridge and has worked closely with ministries of education, non-governmental organisations and industry partners.
Karen was involved in the creation of the Cambridge Approach to Improving Education which draws on meticulous and wide-ranging study of the history of improvement across a range of jurisdictions.
