Steve King

Steve King

He has worked in education for over 25 years as a teacher, teacher trainer, researcher and education reform adviser. He has worked with national education authorities in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Central & South America during his career. His particular interests include education system improvement and education within international development.

Since joining Cambridge in 2017, he has been involved in the development of the Uzbekistan Presidential Schools, the Cambridge partnership with UNICEF in Bangladesh, and the longstanding relationship Cambridge has with the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools.

In June 2021, he was awarded a public service medal ‘Xalq Ta’limi Fidoyisi’ by the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan for his contribution to the development of the education system.
