In our two-part series of interviews, our Head of Content & Solutions, Dominque Slade discusses with International Education Consultant, Chris Sowton the topics included in his latest book, Teaching in Challenging Circumstances, which explores the role of teachers in addressing educational inequality and some suggestions for activities for teaching large, mixed-ability classes.

In this discussion Dominque and Chris talk about recent challenges; the war in Ukraine, and the Covid pandemic which have both presented difficult working and learning conditions. Additionally, language teaching and new pedagogical approaches are explored in this first episode.
