Mayas Alcharani
Mayas is the Senior Education Solutions Manager at Cambridge, where he leads the design and delivery of education reform solutions for governments and system-level partners across MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa. He collaborates with cross-functional teams and subject experts to develop cohesive learning materials that support curriculum and assessment reform.
A former programme director and digital transformation lead in humanitarian and development settings, he has over a decade of experience managing complex, donor-funded education-in-emergencies (EiE) programmes and multimillion-dollar portfolios across MENA and the UK.
Mayas has led research and impact evaluation projects, co-founded a non-profit Arabic online school for displaced learners, and now combines his PhD research in education at the University of Cambridge with practice to design inclusive, evidence-informed learning materials.
