E sì ve digo un'altra cossa, miser cavalliero, ch'io non fu may sença el mio chuor, anci lo sento nel mio peto bater e muover molto speso. E vui, miser cavaliero,' dis'elo a miser Tristan, ‘que ve par del nostro conto? Dinadan reguarda Miser Tristan de traverso e po li dise, ‘Or sapiè, miser [f. 1va] chavaliero, che vui avì perdù un bon taxer. Or sapiay che se vui no avisi parlado per filoxofia, vui no averisi parlado sì altamente che d'amor anday parlando sì altamente.’ E miser Tristan parla a l'altro cavalier e dise, ‘Or me diti, miser cavalier, chi è lo cavalier per chi vui comencesi lo parlamento?’ ‘Miser,’ ciò dise quello, ‘ello è apellado per nom Espinogres et ama la fiia del re de Norbelanda de tuto el suo chuore.'
