Summary

This chapter addresses how Tunisian workers differed from their Egyptian counterparts, managing to heal the rifts of a rank-and-file vs. central leadership split that differed from the federation vs. federation split in Egypt. It also addresses the emergence of the National Dialogue which would see the trade union movement in a guiding position during the revolution.
