Summary

Every CESR journey starts with a desire for recognition of one’s clinical and non-clinical skills and continues with hard work, many hours spent gaining the required evidence and a great deal of support from family, friends, colleagues and mentors. Each doctor’s journey through CESR is unique, and the stories of colleagues who have followed this path are stories of both joyous and frustrating moments in the pursuit of professional recognition, from which lessons can be learnt.
