Two Notes from Knossos

Published online by Cambridge University Press:  27 September 2013

Extract

During Professor J. D. Evans's excavation at Knossos in 1970, I was responsible for two small investigations which the British School had been asked to make by the Ephor of Antiquities at Heraklion, Dr. St. Alexiou. Excavation in both places produced results of interest which merit publication, though a full discussion of them is beyond my scope.
